PUCT, Attorney (Attorney I - IV)
The Public Utility Commission of Texas is dedicated to regulating the state’s electric, telecommunication, and water and sewer utilities. They are seeking an Attorney to provide legal support to the Commissioners on utility matters, analyze proposals, draft and review Commission orders, and offer legal advice on contested cases.

Qualification
Required
Graduation from an accredited law school with LLB or JD degree and licensed with the State Bar of Texas and eligible to practice law in Texas
Graduation from an accredited law school with LLB or JD degree and licensed with the State Bar of Texas; eligible to practice law in Texas; and a minimum of two (2) year legal work experience as a licensed attorney
Graduation from an accredited law school with LLB or JD degree and licensed with the State Bar of Texas; eligible to practice law in Texas; and a minimum of three (3) years legal work experience as a licensed attorney, preferably in utility regulation or administrative law
Graduation from an accredited law school with LLB or JD degree and licensed with the State Bar of Texas; eligible to practice law in Texas; and a minimum of four (4) years legal work experience as a licensed attorney, preferably in utility regulation or administrative law
Preferred
Undergraduate degree in math, finance, accounting, or engineering, or in English with a demonstrated proficiency in math
Administrative law or litigation experience
