Senior Director of Business Operations

Tehran University of Medical Sciences is seeking a Senior Director of Business Operations to lead strategic planning and execution initiatives. Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with the senior management team to develop and execute the company's long-term business strategy and short-term operational objectives
Design and optimize business operations strategies based on market trends, competitive landscape, and company resources to ensure the successful achievement of company strategic goals
Responsible for reviewing and optimizing various business processes within the company, including product development, production, sales, and supply chain, ensuring maximum synergy across all departments
Utilize lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to continuously improve work processes, increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality
Lead and manage a cross-functional operations team, including operations managers and analysts, ensuring the team's efficient operation
Provide development opportunities and training for team members, ensuring employee skills align with the company's development direction
Ensure the team has the resources and capabilities necessary to execute the company's strategy, helping employees achieve personal and company goals
Utilize data analytics and business intelligence tools to regularly assess operational efficiency and effectiveness, and provide recommendations for operational improvements
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), providing data-driven decision support to senior management to help the company achieve its business objectives
Responsible for the company's operating budget, ensuring all operating expenses are within budget
Optimize resource allocation through effective cost management to maximize cost-effectiveness
Collaborate closely with other departments such as sales, marketing, finance, and R&D to ensure information flow and resource coordination, promoting the smooth progress of projects
Regularly report on the status of business operations to senior management, providing improvement plans and expected results
Identify and assess potential risks in business operations, and develop and execute corresponding risk management strategies
Respond quickly and take effective measures to resolve problems or challenges, ensuring the stability and continuity of company operations
Responsible for maintaining and optimizing relationships with key customers, ensuring customer needs are addressed promptly and improving customer satisfaction
Improve the overall customer experience through improved operational processes, promoting customer loyalty and business growth

Required

Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in business administration, operations management, engineering management, marketing, or a related field
At least 20 years of work experience in business operations, project management, or strategic planning
At least 35 years of management experience
Extensive practical experience in cross-departmental coordination, process optimization, and team management
Ability to develop and execute forward-thinking business strategies that contribute to achieving overall company operational goals
Strong leadership skills, able to motivate teams, improve team performance, and effectively manage cross-departmental collaboration
Proficient in project management, able to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards
Data-driven decision-making ability, able to identify problems through analysis of operational data and implement corrective measures
Excellent communication skills, able to effectively communicate with employees at different levels, management, and external partners
Proficiency in Management Tools: Such as Excel, PowerPoint, data analysis tools, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
Strong ability to work under pressure and maintain high performance in a fast-paced and challenging environment
Proactive, innovative, and strategic thinking, able to flexibly adjust strategies based on market changes
Highly responsible and results-oriented, able to drive the achievement of company goals

Preferred

An MBA or other relevant advanced degree
Experience in similar positions in fast-growing companies or large enterprises
