Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain backend services and application components using C#, MS-SQL, and Aurora
Contribute directly to application codebases, including core business logic and data processing
Architect, deploy, and operate AWS infrastructure with a focus on reliability, security, and scalability
Work directly with hedge fund clients on technical integrations, deployments, and support
Participate in architectural discussions spanning application design, data storage, and cloud infrastructure
Qualification
Required
3+ years of professional software/infrastructure engineering experience
Strong hands-on experience writing production C# code
Proficiency with SQL, writing stored procedures, and relational databases
Proven experience with AWS, including: EC2, RDS, Aurora, S3, VPC, VPN, and IAM
Experience working in capital markets environments
Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, early-stage environment
Hybrid role: at least 2 days per week in our New York City office
Preferred
Familiarity with financial systems, risk analytics, market data, or trading workflows is a plus
