Founding Product Engineer
Harnham is an early-stage, product-led technology company focused on creating a new operating layer for modern work. They are seeking a Founding Product Engineer to help shape and build their product from the ground up, emphasizing a strong frontend and UX focus while collaborating closely with a small, technical founding team.
Responsibilities
Turn product hypotheses into working prototypes within days
Design AI-native user experiences where the system feels collaborative, not prompt-driven
Build simple, opinionated flows to test assumptions with real users
Own major parts of the product end-to-end, from UX through implementation
Work across the stack as needed, with a frontend and product focus
Collaborate on system shape without premature abstraction
Ship quickly, learn from usage, and iterate or discard work as assumptions change
Qualification
Required
5–10+ years of hands-on experience building product
Strong frontend and UX sensibility, with full-stack capability
Product-first mindset. You care about interaction, trust, and clarity as much as code
Comfortable working with partial requirements and finding clarity through iteration
Curious about applied AI and LLM-enabled workflows
Low ego, high agency. You hold strong opinions but change them when users prove you wrong
Preferred
Startup or zero-to-one experience is a strong plus
