Responsibilities

Conduct open-source research projects focused on markets, customers, and competitors
Develop and present reports summarizing research findings
Research, analyze, and communicate intelligence assessments and provide recommendations on strategic direction, new business capture pursuits, long-range planning, and Merger & Acquisition (M&A) candidates
Conduct competitive analyses, maintain surveillance over markets and communicate and translate changes in the market environment across the business
Maintain and update a repository of market and competitive intelligence information
Provide cross-business price-to-win and black hat support
Assess competitor positions and approaches to new business opportunities
Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule
Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment
Perform other duties as necessary

Required

BS/BA in a related field plus 2 years or more of related experience
Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education
Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources, determine and communicate relevant information and intelligence
Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced multidisciplinary team environment
Excellent writing and presentation skills
Interest and knowledge in defense, space, technology, and aerospace

Preferred

Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Working knowledge of DACIS and Govwin
