Product Lead & Strategic BD – Health Tech (AI)
Smart Mirror.LLC is building an AI-driven medical scanning platform focused on early detection and clinical decision support. They are seeking a Product Lead & Strategic BD who will oversee product direction, clinical study execution, and strategic business development in an early-stage health tech environment.

Responsibilities
Own product direction through:
Completion of the clinical study
Delivery of the next major UI and workflow upgrade
Translate doctor feedback, clinical requirements, pilot outcomes, and study findings into clear product specifications
Design and run A/B or comparative studies (clinical, workflow, or UI-focused) to drive ongoing product improvement
Make key product prioritization and trade-off decisions in collaboration with engineering (no coding required)
Lead end-to-end execution of the clinical study, including:
Doctor onboarding and coordination
Study protocol execution
Data integrity, documentation, and timelines
Ensure outputs are clinically credible and reusable for future validation and regulatory narratives
Act as the primary interface between clinicians, product, and engineering during the study period
Support India-based BD teams in closing pilots and partnerships in the Global South
Take ownership of US-based or strategic global leads when higher trust, complexity, or credibility is required
Participate in pilot structuring, pricing, and positioning
Ensure BD commitments align with product capabilities and clinical realities
Coordinate India-based team members, including:
QA
Product analyst
Clinical advisors/doctors
BD resources
Temporary development resources (as needed)
Establish clear execution cadence, accountability, and feedback loops
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in product management, health tech, diagnostics, or adjacent domains
Comfortable working directly with doctors, clinicians, and healthcare stakeholders
Strong product judgment grounded in data, experimentation, and real-world constraints
Software-literate product background: You have worked closely with engineering teams on software products and are comfortable writing detailed product specifications, understanding system behavior, data flows, APIs, edge cases, and trade-offs, even though you are not expected to code
Experience designing or interpreting A/B tests, comparative studies, or pilot-based experiments
Comfortable operating in ambiguous, early-stage environments
Able to manage cross-border teams with structure and accountability
