Regional Sales Manager – Masterbatch (Color & Additives) – Southeast US & Texas

Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the plastics manufacturing space
Lead the sales process from initial contact through to close, prospecting, proposing, negotiating, and onboarding
Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to grow market share in color and additive masterbatch
Track pipeline activity and customer engagement using CRM tools and regular reporting
Serve as the key point of contact for your customers—understanding their needs, helping them problem-solve, and ensuring satisfaction from order to delivery
Collaborate with technical and production teams to offer tailored solutions for color matching, additive selection, and performance enhancement
Manage customer feedback and ensure long-term satisfaction and retention
Work with R&D and application development teams to stay aligned on new product development and emerging customer needs
Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and quality assurance
Share customer insights and market trends to help shape product development and marketing strategy
Stay informed about competitor offerings, industry shifts, and customer preferences in the masterbatch space
Provide strategic input to help shape pricing, positioning, and promotional efforts
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in B2B technical sales within the plastic compounding or masterbatch industry, specifically color and additive products
Strong understanding of plastic processing techniques such as injection molding, extrusion, thermoforming, and film
Ability to manage a sales territory independently with strong organizational and time management skills
Comfortable traveling 50% throughout the East Coast region
Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office
Preferred
Background in polymer science, chemical engineering, or a related field preferred
Experience working with target customers in packaging, automotive, building materials, or consumer goods
