Barr Engineering Co. is seeking an oil and gas industry consultant to help expand their brand through targeted client outreach. In this hybrid and/or remote role, you will develop and nurture a network of external contacts to connect with Barr practitioners and position for proposals and projects.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain a strong network within the company to understand priorities and develop support from champions willing to engage with potential clients around opportunities that align with the company’s priorities. Help seek out opportunities that align with these priorities

Attend industry events and network with potential clients through various channels to vet potential fit as clients and identify opportunities that may align with the company’s priorities

Consistently lead and support market contacts to build relationships and opportunities for proposals and projects

Support pursuit and proposal efforts to provide continuity in understanding our strategy, positioning, and client expectations

Required

10+ years of relevant experience

Proven ability to maintain accurate, up-to-date contacts and activities

Experience with leading opportunity pursuit teams to position for opportunities and RFPs

Experience with engineering and environmental professional services

Possession of a current, valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship from Barr, now or in the future

Preferred

Experience with business development in the oil and gas market
