Mid LevelPompano Precision Products is a growing and busy AS9100D & ISO 13485 precision machine shop, seeking a qualified Manufacturing Engineer / CNC Programmer. The role involves programming and assisting in setting up various CNC machines, processing orders, and ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities
Program and assist in setting up machines
Process repeat orders. Update all books as needed
Process new orders. Make drawings, operation sheets, books and programs. Order tools
Make programs and follow up on the setup and running of new programs
Put Programs into the machine as required by the Materials Supervisor
Remove Programs from the machines as needed
Save all downloaded programs and update books accordingly
Work on improvements to existing jobs
Check and order non-vending tools
Send tools for re-grind as needed
Oversee problems at the Mills and Lathes
Maintaining good housekeeping practices in work area
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Coordinate daily work flow with production management
Use of shop floor inspection equipment
Qualification
Required
Experience programming Citizen Swiss Machines, 3-5 Axis DMG Mori and HAAS mills, and Doosan Lathes
Proficiency in ESPRIT, Fusion 360, and MasterCAM for programming
Ability to program and assist in setting up machines
Experience processing repeat orders and updating all books as needed
Experience processing new orders, making drawings, operation sheets, books, and programs
Ability to order tools and make programs
Experience following up on the setup and running of new programs
Ability to put programs into the machine as required by the Materials Supervisor
Ability to remove programs from the machines as needed
Experience saving all downloaded programs and updating books accordingly
Ability to work on improvements to existing jobs
Experience checking and ordering non-vending tools
Ability to send tools for re-grind as needed
Experience overseeing problems at the Mills and Lathes
Maintaining good housekeeping practices in work area
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Experience coordinating daily work flow with production management
Experience using shop floor inspection equipment
