They are seeking dynamic Business Development Managers to expand outreach and drive new business initiatives in the K-8 STEM/STEAM education market.

Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the K-8 STEM/STEAM education market, including schools, districts, and educational organizations
Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve annual sales targets
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align strategies and create compelling value propositions for potential clients
Cold outreach, build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the education sector, including school administrators, educators, and policymakers
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential challenges in primary and lower-secondary education
Prepare and deliver engaging presentations and demonstrations of our products and solutions to prospective clients
Negotiate contracts and agreements with new partners and clients, ensuring favorable terms for the company
Track and analyze business development metrics and report on progress to the leadership team

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Education, Marketing, or a related field
5+ years of experience in business development and sales within the EdTech or K-8 education sector
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets (quotes of $500,000 and higher) and developing successful business strategies
Strong understanding of the K-8 education landscape, including trends, challenges, and opportunities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
Proficient in CRM software (HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite
Specifically focuses on the Western regions of the US
Willing and flexible to travel on an as-needed basis

Preferred

STEM/STEAM sales experience
Experience working for early-stage or start-ups
Experience with data analysis tools
Mission-driven, dedicated, and would like to be in a fast-paced and driven environment
