Responsibilities
Learn and understand the Child Welfare Information System (CWIS) and its real-world use by social services staff
Develop training materials: user guides, presentations, job aids, and eLearning courses
Design training content for adult learners, including interactive modules (videos, simulations, quizzes)
Deliver classroom, virtual, and webinar-based training sessions
Update and maintain training materials as the system evolves
Collaborate with Training Lead, Business/Agile teams, Developers, and SMEs
Review training content for accuracy and quality
Track learner progress and provide feedback or additional training recommendations
Support training logistics (scheduling, registration, session setup)
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience developing and delivering adult training
Experience with government or social services systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle)
Experience designing eLearning and computer-based training
Preferred
Experience with Child Welfare, NC FAST, or Medicaid systems
Basic knowledge of HTML/XML and web technologies
Familiarity with Adobe tools (Captivate, FrameMaker, Camtasia)
