$60K/yr - $90K/yrLHH is partnering with a well-established organization in Oklahoma City to identify a Staff or Senior Income Tax Accountant to support its income tax compliance function. This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative tax team while gaining exposure to federal and multistate income tax matters.

Responsibilities
Prepare federal and state income tax returns
Develop and maintain supporting tax workpapers and documentation
Research and analyze income tax issues and provide recommendations
Assist with tax-related projects and departmental initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
Experience in public accounting and/or an in-house corporate tax department
Strong background in federal income taxation
Experience with multistate income and franchise taxes
Advanced Excel and solid Microsoft Office skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict filing deadlines
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Willingness to work additional hours during peak tax periods
Preferred
CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred
