Program Manager - Clackamas County BHRN
The Peer Company is focused on providing support for individuals with substance use concerns, and they are seeking a Program Manager for the Clackamas County Behavioral Health Resource Network. This role involves developing program materials, supervising peer support specialists, and ensuring compliance with program requirements while fostering collaboration with community partners.

Responsibilities
Supervises peers support specialists to ensure task completion, complete program and contract goals, improve operational efficiency, and support professional development
Schedules PSSs based on contract obligations and arranges coverage as needed
Responds to and assigns referrals for peer services internally and with community partners as needed
Assists with onboarding and continual training new Peer Support Specialist staff through routine supervision and coaching
Provides 1:1 or group peer support/recovery mentor services as needed
Completes routine reports to highlight program deliverables and impact in collaboration with data analysts to internal leadership and funders
Support the Program Director in managing the program budget to ensure fiscal responsibility and efficient use of funds
Monitor and conduct routine employee record keeping audits (e.g., calendars, financial reports, RecoveryLink, etc.) to ensure timely completion in alignment with company policy and contract expectations
Develop and maintain strong relationships with community partners
Regularly travel to various locations using a personal vehicle to perform job-related duties and responsibilities
Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support the team and organizational goals
Qualification
Required
Identify as having lived experience with addiction and/or mental health challenges and has been in active recovery for at least 2 years
3+ years of relevant work experience with a high school diploma or GED
Peer Support Specialist or Peer Wellness Specialist (OHA Traditional Health Worker certification) and/or MHCBO CRM certification
Applicants who don't currently have the one of these certifications must be willing to complete training and be certified within 90 days of starting this role
Valid driving license and ability to pass a DMV check
This position requires strong coordination and engagement skills
Demonstrated knowledge of human services/peer support program development and capacity building
Ability to network, communicate, and collaborate with diverse groups of people who have varied skills and knowledge
Well-developed writing and data analysis skills including the ability to write reports, technical assistance guides, and educational and training materials
Ability to read, analyze and interpret mental health and recovery periodicals, professional journals, and government regulations
Ability to respond to impromptu questions from other community organizations, consumers, and the public with professionalism and tact
Understands the effect of trauma on health, coping, and other aspects of individual needs
Understands the principles of recovery, consumer-involvement, and trauma-informed care
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
Must be a good communicator and sensitive to various communication and learning styles
Comfortable pivoting and adjusting to changing circumstances and sudden changes in priorities
Possesses an absolute belief in every peer's ability to learn, grow, and recover
Possesses insight pertaining to personal biases and worldview and how they may interfere with effectively working with individuals representing a variety of cultural, ethnic, language and life experiences
Able to balance being in the field with program management and supervision duties
Preferred
Associate's degree (or higher) with 3+ years of relevant work experience
2+ years of supervision and program management experience with a diverse team
