Responsibilities
Manage employment law cases from inception through trial
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial briefs
Take and defend depositions; appear in court to argue motions
Lead case strategy and advocate directly for clients’ rights
Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations
Assist in trial preparation and serve as second chair where applicable
Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to team development
Qualification
Required
Active membership in the California State Bar
3+ years of plaintiff-side employment litigation experience
Deposition experience required; trial experience strongly preferred
Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Ability to manage cases independently and guide junior attorneys
