Eaton is a leader in power management technology and services, and they are seeking an Electrical Test Technician. This role involves testing and modifying electrical equipment post-production, ensuring product functions meet quality standards before shipment to customers.

Responsibilities

Perform system tests, including IR and dielectric testing, and complete written test reports, logs and records

Troubleshoot electrical problems in complex systems

Troubleshoot AC/DC circuitry and printed circuit assemblies to the component level

Assemble, set-up programs and perform functional tests on circuit boards

Organize work by receiving work requests; studying wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications testing systems and electrical components; determining cause of problems and requirements to solve problems

Use test equipment including digital meter, current meter, out of phase transformer, variac transformer resistive load bank, hi-pot tester, current clamp, computer, and infrared camera

Maintain safe work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations and codes

Required

Must have a High School Diploma or GED required from an accredited educational institution

Must have a minimum of one year of experience in electrical test or related electronic technologies field, preferably in a manufacturing environment
