Mechanical Crash Test Engineer
Engineering Technology Associates, Inc. is focused on automotive safety, and they are seeking a Mechanical Crash Test Engineer. The role involves conducting full vehicle and occupant safety testing, defining test methodologies, and ensuring quality test reports and data collection.

Responsibilities
Full Vehicle, CRASH or Occupant Safety Testing, and System Validation
Support Testing, DFMEA and DVP&R development and execution
Define test methodologies in alignment with vehicle development programs
Full Vehicle, Occupant Safety Testing, and System Validation
Deliver efficient test property usage through re-use strategies
Manage, track and deliver any required test property updates and retrofits
Drive delivery of testing to project milestones
Coordinate logistics for prototype vehicles, parts, and fixtures for testing
Ensure quality test reports and proper data collection
Deliver efficient test property usage through re-use strategies
Communicate all test results to the cross functional teams
Qualification
Required
BSME or Equivalent
Bachelor's (Required)
crash or occupant safety: 3 years (Required)
Preferred
Experience with Automotive Structures: 3 years (Preferred)
good knowledge and familiar with Automotive closures, structures and Interior test requirements and standards
Experience with Door KLT, SAG, Durability, Floor Pan Deflection, Tie Down Strength testing, Life Cycle testing
understanding of FMVSS regulations (208, 207, 210, 216, 225)
