Project Manager I-CAPC

Mount Sinai Morningside is part of the Mount Sinai Health System, one of the largest academic medical systems in the New York metro area. The Project Manager of Palliative Care Program Development will be responsible for developing tools and technical assistance to support palliative care programs nationwide, coordinating with external experts and managing various projects related to palliative care program leadership and development.

Responsibilities

Project management of CAPC technical assistance development projects related to palliative care program leadership, design, and operations, including:
Coordinate working groups of external palliative care experts
Develop and manage product and program development work plans
Collaborate with other content creating CAPC teams (Clinical Education, Health Care Transformation, and Health Equity, Marketing)
Review and revision of faculty-developed materials prior to publication
Project Management of CAPC Virtual Workshops related to palliative care program development (non-clinical) including:
Faculty communication
Scheduling
Invoicing/coordinating faculty payments
Support CAPC’s Continuing Education Program Manager to assist with the coordination and planning required for continuing medical education and continuing education activities for physicians, nurses, socials workers, and case managers
Liaising with CAPC marketing team to post to CAPC’s website and promote to CAPC’s audience
Facilitate cohorts of learners through a structured virtual learning experience
Manage a portfolio of CAPC’s online toolkits for palliative care program development, including coordination of annual review and implementation of necessary updates
Support CAPC Virtual Events by hosting occasional Virtual Office Hours, Interprofessional Grand Rounds, and Webinars to support the faculty presenters
Obtain and report on usage data for CAPC program development materials to support grant report-writing and strategic decision-making for content development
Collaborate with CAPC’s Marketing and Website team to implement the Palliative Care Program Development website work (e.g. adding new content, updating existing content)
Maintain continuous communication with CAPC Member Services team to ensure that Palliative Care Program Development projects and products are responsive to CAPC member needs
Uphold CAPC’s diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) values in all professional activities and interactions

Required

Bachelor's degree or greater preferred, or combination of applicable work experience and education
3+ years of relevant experience with Master's degree; 5+ years with Bachelor's degree
Excellent written and verbal communication skills – both internally with team members and representing CAPC externally among health care leaders
Excellent organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple complex projects in parallel
Comfort working in a team-oriented, fast-paced, and collaborative workplace culture
Comfort working remotely in a ‘virtual office'
Comfort learning new technologies
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and solve problems on projects

Preferred

Project management specific experience in health care preferred; experience with palliative care preferred but not required
