Industrial Sales Account Manager

The Industrial Sales Account Manager will lead sales efforts for electrical components, develop strategic sales plans, and foster relationships with key decision-makers to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
Lead sales efforts for electrical components, focused on industrial controls, circuit protection, and power distribution solutions (e.g., motor controls, molded case circuit breakers, and disconnect switches)
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed revenue targets while growing market share
Identify and develop new business opportunities while growing existing accounts within the assigned territory
Foster strong relationships with engineering, procurement, executive teams, and other key decision makers at customer organizations, while developing a complete understanding of customer’s organizational structures and leveraging key buying influences to drive sales and customer satisfaction
Prepares an annual sales forecast assigned territory for maximum productivity and sales growth
Prospects and cultivate new business opportunities
Coordinates secured customer orders with appropriate staff for order entry, tracking & fulfilment
Follows up on all generated quotations to assure the customer is being serviced and document the proposed solution
Understands and cultivates knowledge on core industrial products, including appropriate product substitutes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree; engineering preferred not required
Industrial customer and market knowledge is a plus
Possess a valid driver's license & good driving history
Commitment to and demonstration of high ethical standards governing professional behavior and interactions
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely, especially verbally
Demonstrated time management and organizational skills, including an ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Ability to work well alone and in a team environment
Demonstrated capability to develop strong interpersonal working relationships and work in a team environment
Strong customer service orientation to provide exceptional customer experience
Demonstrated motivation, willingness to learn and complete quality work
Ability to travel out of state @ 5-10%
Preferred
