Responsibilities
Responsible for sustaining and improving wet etch processes in a high-volume manufacturing environment by monitoring and controlling process performance, troubleshooting yield and quality issues, and implementing process enhancements to eliminate bottlenecks
This role supports the installation and qualification of new tools and technologies, participates in process and technology transfers, and leads small to medium projects and task teams
Works closely with Integration and Quality organizations to ensure stable, efficient, and high-performing manufacturing operations
Qualification
Required
Strong knowledge of wet etch principles, theories, concepts, and processing techniques
Hands-on experience with Akrion, DNS, SEZ, and/or Semitool wet etch tools and processes
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organizational and leadership skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate effectively in a global team environment
Experience with Design of Experiments (DOE), data analysis, and statistical software such as JMP
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of wet etch process engineering experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred
Familiarity with PROMIS WIP management systems
Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
Six Sigma certification
Experience with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
