Responsibilities
Supervise, mentor, develop/train, set expectations, review performance, and lead the accounting team, which currently consists of both direct and indirect roles
Own and coordinate the financial close process
Develop schedule to hit the review and reporting deadlines
Enter/supervise journal entry process
Understand significant or unusual variations to forecasts/budgets and other comparisons, and communicate to appropriate management
Prepare local financial statements, supplemental requirements and analyses
Prepare forecasted information requested, such as cash, order/sales projections, and monthly financial results
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration
Five to ten years of progressively responsible experience in the accounting/finance area
Should have experience in preparing financial information and able to explain the results to various levels of management
