Responsibilities
Perform all duties associated with the Quality Control Microbiology Analyst role
Conduct environmental monitoring and compressed gas sampling in controlled environments
Collect water and clean steam samples from manufacturing systems
Manage laboratory support functions, including inventory control of supplies, media, and reagents
Prepare and complete laboratory investigation reports
Utilize the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for sample tracking and test result documentation
Schedule routine tasks on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
Maintain a strong work ethic and meet physical requirements, including:
Lifting objects of 25 lbs. or more
Walking and standing for extended periods
Pushing/pulling carts and equipment
Bending and reaching for supplies
Support and monitor the performance of a team of analysts
Participate in new hire interviews and assist with onboarding processes
Train and mentor team members
Conduct peer reviews of data to ensure accuracy and compliance
Coordinate equipment maintenance and calibration activities
Qualification
Required
0-2 Years of cGMP experience
Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, or other science-related degree concentration, and 2-4 years of related experience
0-1 year of previous leadership experience
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
