Responsibilities
Cleaning office areas, stocking cleaning supplies, and taking out trash and organic recyclables
Arriving on time and ready to work as scheduled
Following Department and County policies and performing job duties as directed
Attending safety meetings and working safely
Communicating clearly and professionally with customers, custodial leads, supervisor, and manager
Completing routine inspection forms
Ordering cleaning supplies and maintaining custodial work area
Qualification
Required
Possession of a valid California motor vehicle operator's license
One (1) year of full-time (or the equivalent of full-time) experience performing custodial maintenance in a commercial, industrial or public agency
Must pass a background investigation
Preferred
Experience with a floor machine, buffing, stripping and waxing, and carpet cleaning
Cooperative and personal demeanor
Ability to remain polite and professional while completing assigned duties
Experienced and knowledgeable in the use of cleaning chemicals and PPE
A proven track record of reliable and strong work ethic
