Responsibilities

Provides direct and indirect patient care services, including the administration of medications and therapeutic agents necessary to implement treatment, disease prevention, or rehabilitative plan of care
Determine priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the hospital system
Displays knowledge and is able to identify and make special adjustments to the specific populations needs, including cultural, spiritual, age, psychosocial, communication, gender, sexual orientation, economic, education, family and condition needs
Respond quickly, and with accuracy to changes in condition or response to treatment

Required

Graduate of accredited nursing program
Valid California Registered Nurse License
BLS required through American Heart Association
ACLS required through American Heart Association
PALS through AHA for Emergency Department (ED) Interns within 90 days
LA County Fire Card
Approved assaultive behavior training
1 year RN experience for acute patient care: Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, ICU or Peri-op unit experience, or Completion of Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital RN New Grad nurse residency program required

Preferred

BSN strongly preferred
Some critical care experience preferred
TNCC preferred
Experience with Shared Governance and or Magnet committees a plus

Critical Pipeline Loan: Tuition loans up to $5,250 for specific degree programs at approved, accredited schools identified by the organization, including BSN and MSN. This program is for attaining the following degrees:
Employees may have their loans Forgiven if they continue eligible employment for 12 months after completion of the term for which the loan was given
