Responsibilities

Review project drawings for scope, constructability, and cost savings

Assist with pre-construction walkthroughs and subcontractor selection

Develop construction schedule and manage subs to hit required milestones on schedule

Develop project safety binder and review with subcontractors

Administer safety program

Assist with managing equipment lead times

Order any construction related items (dumpsters, storage, etc.)

Lead construction review meetings

Weekly field reports documenting progress for the Owner

Assist with the commissioning effort

Schedule factory start-ups and ensure start-up sheets are filled out, and submitted as required for warranties

Owner training – scheduling, coordination, etc

Project punch lists

Address project issues

Help resolve warranty issues as needed

Develop O&M manuals and as-builts

Required

Experience with both HVAC/mechanical systems and commercial construction

Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)

Ability to review project drawings for scope, constructability, and cost savings

Experience assisting with pre-construction walkthroughs and subcontractor selection

Ability to develop construction schedule and manage subs to hit required milestones on schedule

Experience developing project safety binder and reviewing with subcontractors

Ability to administer safety program

Experience managing equipment lead times

Ability to order construction related items (dumpsters, storage, etc.)

Experience leading construction review meetings

Ability to document progress for the Owner through weekly field reports

Experience assisting with the commissioning effort

Ability to register applicable equipment for warranties

Experience scheduling factory start-ups and ensuring start-up sheets are filled out and submitted as required for warranties

Ability to schedule and coordinate Owner training

Experience developing O&M manuals and as-builts

Skills in management, communication, coordination, training, construction, commissioning, start-ups, submittals, constructability, and administration
