Responsibilities
Understand business objectives and translate them into technical requirements to be prioritized and solved in the current business environment
Use your technical understanding of Atlassian and related systems to partner with and influence engineers and architects in delivering solutions to these problems
Build a project plan for delivery and effectively communicate the status of project execution, associated risks and issues to stakeholders and partners in a regular rhythm
Make data driven decisions for your project, understand tradeoffs and balance speed of delivery with risks and impact
Manage complex dependencies and projects with a broad scope across the company with the goal of ensuring successful delivery
Be a champion of change and drive the adoption of best practices in projects that you work on
Qualification
Required
BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
7+ years of experience in software engineering or technical product/program management
Strategic thinking and ability to understand business objectives to translate them into technical problems and programs
Technical understanding of systems involved. Willingness to develop domain expertise in the area they operate - TPMs are not expected to write or read code, but are expected to understand system flows, block architectures, APIs and such
Experience defining and running end-to-end complex technical programs
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
