Responsibilities

Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs of a wide variety of medical devices ranging from basic medical technology to sophisticated systems
Conduct incoming equipment inspections, installation, recall & alert activities, and calibration & repair of medical devices

Required

Associate's Degree and 3 years of experience in Electronic, Mechanical, IT, or Healthcare industry OR High School diploma and 5 years of experience in Electronic, Mechanical, IT, or Healthcare industry
Valid state driver's license
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented
Human Anatomy and Physiology education with 1 year of hire Medical Terminology education within 1 year of hire
Advanced Biomedical Equipment Service “vendor” training (Patient monitoring, electrosurgical, infusion)

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree
Military training in technical field
Medical device experience
Licensure/Certification: Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) or Certified Laboratory Equipment Specialist (CLES) certification through The Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI)
