Responsibilities
Use established CADD standards to prepare electronic design and construction drawings from engineer markups or verbal instructions
Draft and design civil improvements for treatment plants, pump stations, lift stations, pipelines, storage vessels, and related municipal/industrial water infrastructure
Prepare precise drawings and specifications that display scale, dimensions, material details, and construction procedures
Develop and update design files in AutoCAD Civil 3D including alignments, profiles, grading, and pipeline infrastructure
Incorporate redlines and design changes efficiently while maintaining clarity and accuracy
Organize and schedule work to meet project budgets and timelines
Perform drawing reviews and maintain organized project files
Communicate and coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other team members
Qualification
Required
Associates degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) or related field
Proficient in AutoCAD and able to visualize designs in 2D or 3D dimensions
Attention to detail
Ability to work occasional overtime
Familiarity working in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word

Ability to walk up to 3-miles on uneven terrain
Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
Occasionally climb, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist
Occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull light to moderate amounts of weight
May require lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds, with rare lifting of up to 50 pounds
Ability to inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects
May be required to wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) including but not limited to, flame resistant clothing, hard hat, and protective footwear
May require occasional evenings and weekends with overtime expectations varying with workload
May be required to travel to off-site locations including occasional overnight stays out of town
Preferred
3+ years drafting experience
Proficient in Civil3D, Bluebeam Revu and Autodesk BIM
Experience with civil site design, site grading modeling, and pipeline design
Ability to multi-task and effectively manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
