Our client, Ledgent Technology, is seeking a Senior Database & Reporting Developer to design and optimize complex database systems, build ETL workflows using Microsoft Fabric, and create insightful Power BI reports.

Computer Software

Responsibilities

Architect and develop scalable database solutions using Microsoft Fabric and SQL Server
Build and optimize ETL pipelines, stored procedures, triggers, and views using Microsoft Fabric Pipelines, Data Flows, and Notebooks
Create and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards
Lead cloud database migration projects with minimal downtime
Integrate multiple data sources into unified data models
Analyze and improve database performance and query execution
Automate database deployment processes using Azure DevOps pipelines
Implement security measures to protect sensitive data
Maintain documentation for database designs and migration processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions
Mentor junior developers and stay current with emerging technologies

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
7+ years of experience in database development (SQL Server, ETL design/build, database architecture)
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Pipelines, Data Flows, Notebooks)
Proficiency in SQL Server, T-SQL programming, and stored procedures
Experience with Power BI report development
Familiarity with cloud platforms and database migration processes
Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality solutions quickly

Preferred

Relevant certifications in Microsoft Fabric, SQL Server, or cloud technologies are a plus
