Equipment Specialist Support, Senior F-16 WAM (TS)

Responsibilities

The Senior Equipment Specialist shall support the regeneration, conversion, and modification of AMARG stored Block 15/25/30 F-16 aircraft to the F-16 Aerial Target Program. The Contractor shall support technical support services for F-16 avionics systems, subsystems and programs primarily, but should be able to support mechanical systems issues also. The Contractor shall assist to monitor/track and prepare TCTOs necessary in correcting deficiencies such as operating instructions, overhaul, repair procedures, and/or modifications to the aircraft
Assist with preparation of AFMC Form 873 for the purpose of TO changes/corrections and other related forms and processes required to maintain assigned TO and technical data to include review and correction of parts list for modification kit requirements
Support and accomplish spares provisioning as required, and shall interface with appropriate inventory managers located within a variety of DoD agencies. The Contractor shall assist to ensure that F-16 spares requirements are identified and shall support the coordination of programming the requisite funding to meet the identified requirement to include research of technical data packages and recommended level of maintenance for source maintenance and repair codes
Provide assistance in troubleshooting avionics systems, developing improvements leading to the resolution of issues identified with fielded and fielding for all avionics systems including, but not limited to, radar, controls and displays, data bus, communication, navigation, identification, electronic warfare, and sensor systems and other systems and components as defined in, or derived from, program requirements
Support as the technical content manager for avionics systems and TOs assigned. The Contractor shall assist to establish the requirements for and prepare TCTOs and technical orders for both field and depot level maintenance operations, repair inspection and testing of the complete weapon systems. The Contractor shall assist to perform verifications of technical data as a member of the technical verification team and pre/post publication review group to determine technical accuracy of data and proper sequence of the technical content
Support coordination of meetings with team and leadership as required. The Contractor shall attend and participate in program management meetings and program review meetings
