Responsibilities
Prepare and review individual, business, and trust income tax returns with accuracy and timeliness
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws
Stay current with tax code changes and regulations
Meet with clients to gather financial information and provide tax guidance
Identify potential deductions, credits, and tax planning opportunities
Respond to IRS and State notices and inquiries
Support clients during audits, providing documentation and resolution strategies
Assist with bookkeeping for monthly clients when needed
Train and mentor junior staff members
Support senior tax preparers and collaborate with other advisory team members
Maintain accurate and organized records of tax filings and related correspondence
Ensure confidentiality and data security for all client information
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in accounting or related degrees
Active CPA, EA, or JD license required; candidates actively pursuing certification will also be considered
Experience preparing individual, business, and trust tax returns
Proficiency in tax preparation software and digital office environments
Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to work independently
Excellent communication, customer service, and follow-up skills
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, flexible work environment
