Responsibilities
Maintain and refer to cutting log records of various products for cutting to material specifications based on production ticket
Maintains the automated cutting machines
Perform manual cutting of the web, if needed
Must be alert for in-process product imperfections and bring to the supervisor or lead’s attention
Move work within department after completion
Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma and no work related experience
Must possess knowledge using hand tools
Demonstrate basic mathematical, reading, writing, and comprehension as well as communication skills
Demonstrate a strong attention to detail
Demonstrate the capacity to shift priorities
Ability to work closely and effectively with all employees and management staff
Required to stand, walk or sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Preferred
Two years (2) years experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
