Pre-Sale Solutions Consultant

Responsibilities

Developing and managing aligned benefits technology vendor relationships, acting as the single point of contact, and overseeing contracts and performance
Leading resolution of issues for aligned vendor relationships and ensuring consistent evaluation against division and client goals
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to collect market intelligence and shape effective strategies
Serving as the internal expert on benefits technology solutions and industry trends, and supporting preferred partner engagement
Creating and disseminating educational materials and tools that communicate vendor value propositions to internal and external sales teams
Driving process efficiencies related to enrollment and administration in partnership with benefits technology vendors
Managing strategic initiatives such as benefits technology funding to support roadmap goals including new sales, growth, persistency, and participation outcomes

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, health management, or related field preferred or equivalent work experience
Minimum 8 years of insurance industry experience, preferably in benefits technology
Proven ability to build strong relationships with vendor and distribution partners
Strategic mindset with the ability to lead initiatives with minimal direction
Innovative thinker with a creative approach to challenges
Strong leadership skills in guiding cross-functional teams toward successful results
High level of accountability and self-direction in a dynamic work environment
Agile and adaptable with a startup mentality
Strategic vendor relationship management and contract oversight
Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills
Ability to develop market-informed strategies and tactics
Experience in benefits technology funding and process optimization
Excellent organizational and self-management abilities
Proven track record in achieving growth and performance targets

Preferred

Experience in benefits technology solutions and implementation
Familiarity with enrollment and administrative platforms
Skilled in developing educational materials for sales enablement
Knowledge of industry trends and competitive positioning
