Responsibilities

Design and develop custom Tulip applications for MES functions (production tracking, quality inspections, work instructions)
Translate business requirements into app solutions that improve efficiency and enforce SOPs
Configure integrations between Tulip and ERP, PLCs, IoT devices using connectors (HTTP, SQL, MQTT)
Build dashboards and analytics within Tulip to provide actionable insights (cycle times, OEE, defect rates)
Train and support operators on Tulip apps, ensuring adoption and continuous improvement
Apply agile methodologies for rapid prototyping, testing, and deployment
Maintain app versioning, permissions, and data integrity standards
Troubleshoot and resolve app-related issues to ensure uptime and performance
Produce documentation including process maps, data architecture, and integration requirements
Serve as a subject matter expert for Tulip platform and connected operations

Required

Hands-on experience with Tulip App Builder and low-code development
Strong understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and shop floor operations
Experience integrating Tulip with ERP, PLCs, and IoT devices using connectors (HTTP, SQL, MQTT)
Proficiency in building dashboards and analytics within Tulip
Familiarity with agile development practices
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to produce clear technical documentation and process maps
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Ability to work 100% remote (CST/EST hours preferred)

Background in Manufacturing or Quality/Reliability Engineering preferred
