The role involves hands-on desktop support and deployment experience, where the technician will work with senior engineers to ensure smooth transitions and support during deployment waves.

Responsibilities
Assist with the transition from Windows 10 to Windows 11 workstations
Support imaging and deployment of Windows 11 devices using SCCM
Perform device swaps, workstation refreshes, and initial configurations
Validate basic functionality (login, applications, network connectivity)
Escalate complex SCCM or imaging issues to senior level engineers
Assist with replacing and setting up Citrix Thin Clients
Perform basic device provisioning and configuration via WMS
Verify Citrix session connectivity after deployment
Troubleshoot common hardware, login, or connectivity issues
Replace around 400 Credit Card machines attached to workstations and network enterprise-wide
Provide desk-side and floor support during scheduled deployment waves and after deployment
Communicate clearly with end users during device replacements
Follow documented deployment and change procedures
Update asset records and deployment tracking tools within Service Now
Qualification
Required
Hands-on desktop support or deployment experience
Experience with Windows 10 and Windows 11
Experience with imaging
Experience with SCCM
Experience with Endpoint Management Tools
Experience with Active Directory
Ability to assist with the transition from Windows 10 to Windows 11 workstations
Ability to support imaging and deployment of Windows 11 devices using SCCM
Ability to perform device swaps, workstation refreshes, and initial configurations
Ability to validate basic functionality (login, applications, network connectivity)
Ability to escalate complex SCCM or imaging issues to senior level engineers
Ability to assist with replacing and setting up Citrix Thin Clients
Ability to perform basic device provisioning and configuration via WMS
Ability to verify Citrix session connectivity after deployment
Ability to troubleshoot common hardware, login, or connectivity issues
