The role of a Defense and Government Travel Consultant II involves providing exceptional customer service to defense and government travelers, ensuring a seamless travel experience from booking to post-trip support.
Travel
Responsibilities
Create and complete travel arrangements (air, hotel, car, rail)
Ensure reservations are built according to client standards and preferences
Act as a trusted advisor by offering informed and insightful recommendations that provide the best traveler experience
Handle a wide range of booking from simple ones to complex bookings with potentially non-standard and multi destinations, ticket exchanges and complex fares
Make changes or solve any issues that might occur during or before the travel
Assignments include both routine and non-routine work

Qualification
Required
3 or more years experience working as a Travel Consultant (or 5 years in other customer service industry)
Advanced knowledge of GDS (Sabre or Amadeus)
A genuine passion for high-quality customer service — we care about our customers and it's important to us that you do too
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong teamwork skills
A positive, 'can do' attitude
Willingness to learn and grow!
CWT accepts Military experience/certifications as a substitute for some requirements
Must be a US Citizen
Subject to a company and government background investigation including a criminal history and credit record review
Required to adhere to all government-required and/or company-mandated information security policies and regulations
Required to take all Information Security and Privacy Act training required by the Government and/or company
Required to safeguard any traveler personal identifiable information (PII) in accordance with applicable information security policies or regulations
