The role involves supporting electrical design initiatives for power distribution equipment, ensuring high-quality and reliable designs, and contributing to both technical and collaborative efforts in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Perform product-level electrical design, including component selection, thermal system design, mechanical packaging support, and interconnection hardware design

Apply knowledge in analog and digital circuitry, magnetics, and thermals

Create engineering and technical design specifications for power protection systems

Design switchboard power and control circuits

Develop and manage design documentation such as bills of materials (BOMs) and schematics

Support integration of third-party devices into power distribution equipment

Contribute to manufacturing documentation, test procedures, and technical reports

Provide sustaining engineering support for both new and legacy systems

Perform hands-on troubleshooting of systems and subsystems

Support product safety certifications with NRTL partners (UL, CSA, IEC standards)
