Responsibilities
Own Features End-to-End: Lead the design process for major features, from initial product thinking and user exploration to pixel-perfect visual design and high-fidelity interactive prototypes
Design Novel Interactions: Go beyond static screens. You will design and prototype fluid, novel interactions for a new medium, taking complex AI concepts and making them feel intuitive and powerful
Uphold a High Bar for Craft: Create exceptionally high-quality visual designs, interactions, and prototypes, demonstrating world-class taste and an obsession with detail
Define Product Strategy: Collaborate closely with engineers, AI researchers, and product teams to explore new use cases, help define product strategy, and ensure high-quality implementation of the design vision
Thrive in Ambiguity: Operate effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment, turning fuzzy research concepts into concrete, shippable products
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience building delightful and innovative products at scale
Strong generalist with demonstrated excellence across visual design, interaction design, and product thinking
Portfolio showcasing high-fidelity, interactive prototypes built in tools like Figma, Framer, or Origami
Exceptional ability to articulate design vision and collaborate effectively with a cross-functional team
Experience working in a startup or similarly fast-paced environment
Ability to balance craft with speed
Preferred
Experience designing creative tools (e.g., video/photo editors, design software)
Experience designing for generative AI technologies like LLMs or Image/Video Models
Experience with other interactive media like 3D, game design, or visual AI prototyping tools like ComfyUI
Work experience at a top-tier, design-led company known for high-craft products
