Communications Operator

Responsibilities

Responsible for communications into and within the hospital by use of the telephone switchboard, pagers, and public address systems
Primary focus of the job is to respond quickly and courteously to all incoming calls and to route these calls to the proper extension and properly respond to and follow procedures for emergency codes

Qualification

Microsoft WindowsCustomer service experienceTelecommunication devicesHigh School DiplomaAssociates Degree

Required

High School Diploma
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Windows (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and successfully completes Windows Competency testing

Preferred

Associates Degree
Experience in customer service role
Experience with the use of various telecommunication devices
