This role combines estimating expertise with client relationships and pursuit strategy, playing a key role in winning work and shaping pricing strategies while supporting projects from early pursuit through handoff.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and accurate cost estimates for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects
Analyze drawings, specs, schedules, and general conditions
Identify value engineering opportunities and cost efficiencies
Support pursuit strategies, negotiated work, and budget pricing
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
Act as a bridge between estimating and operations for smooth project transitions

Required

Experience in construction estimating with exposure to business development, sales, or client-facing work
Strong understanding of construction methods and materials
Proficiency with tools like Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar
