Corporate Engineering Technician
Breckenridge Grand Vacations is a locally owned resort developer with a 40-year history in Summit County. They are seeking a Corporate Engineering Technician to perform a wide range of maintenance tasks to ensure properties are impeccably maintained and safe for guests and employees.

Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of maintenance tasks including carpentry, drywall, electrical, HVAC, landscaping, masonry, painting, and plumbing
Maintain and repair laundry equipment at the Breck Inn
Service and maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in optimal working order
Monitor inventory of replacement parts and inform the General Manager for timely ordering
Open, monitor, and maintain the Breck Inn hot tub, including water chemistry, filtration, temperature, and pump systems
Perform snow and ice removal (plowing, shoveling, salting) to ensure clear walkways and parking lots
Assist with exterior property upkeep, including trash removal, sweeping, landscaping, and maintaining the overall appearance
Keep the maintenance shop, trash shed, and storage areas clean and organized
Perform pre-arrival checks of Breck Inn units to ensure all items are in proper working order
Manage and track maintenance requests using company software
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance phone calls for all locations
Assist with fire alarm incidents and building evacuations
Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with OSHA guidelines
Adhere to all company safety procedures and report potentially unsafe conditions
Operate company vehicles and snow blowers safely and as needed
Follow company guidelines for environmental sustainability (recycling, composting, resource conservation)
Uphold all company hospitality standards, culture, and core department standards
Maintain a positive, helpful, and courteous relationship with all guests, owners, and colleagues
Respond promptly to all email and voicemail correspondence
Attend and participate in company-wide training sessions and department meetings
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school AND 2+ years of related experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
Advanced understanding of hand and power tools, HVAC systems, boilers, carpentry, refrigeration, mechanical systems, and hot tub chemistry
Valid US Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
Ability to stand and walk for more than 2/3 of the time
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally over 100 pounds
Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions, including extreme cold and snow
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Ability to speak, read, write, and interpret in English
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and diagnose problems
Preferred
Proven track record of exceptional customer service and a 'can-do' attitude
Highly resourceful and able to meet challenges with initiative
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to completing tasks in a timely, organized, and professional manner
Works effectively both independently and as a positive, collaborative team player
Remains calm, empathetic, and effective under pressure
Experience with property management software for tracking work orders
Formal certifications in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or other skilled trades
Previous experience in a hotel, resort, or multi-property maintenance role
