Responsibilities
Program Development and Implementation -design, implement, and monitor nutrition programs tailored to meet the specific needs of diverse patient populations. Collaborate with healthcare teams to integrate nutrition interventions into overall patient care plans
Provides support to the team of dietitians, addressing questions and concerns related to specific patient cases and/or administrative processes to ensure each dietitian feels they have the support from their manager in counseling patients and their day-to-day tasks
Staff Supervision and Training - hire and train new dietitians, and manage the team of nutrition professionals, providing guidance, supervision, and training as needed
Quality Assurance and Compliance -conduct regular audits to assess the quality and effectiveness of nutrition care and make necessary improvements to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines related to nutrition services
Collaboration and Communication -collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Data Management - maintain accurate and up-to-date records of productivity, types of visits, and nutrition counseling impact to evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition programs and make data-driven improvements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field
Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
7 years of experience in clinical nutrition, with a demonstrated progression in responsibilities
1-2 years' experience as a manager
Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
Florida license required
Strong leadership and managerial skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines governing nutrition services
Open to feedback from the team
Bilingual English and Spanish is required
Flexible to travel per business needs
Preferred
Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field preferred
