Work with faculty surgeons to design studies, assist with data collection and analyze outcomes
Participate in opportunities for improved clinical research outcomes through data handling, statistical analysis, and trial coordination and manuscript preparation
Learn about new therapies under investigation, report results of treatment and when feasible, present work at national meetings in abstract as well as manuscript form
Qualification
Required
Passionate about a position in a collegial, faith-based environment
Dedication to developing expertise in congenital pediatric and adult cardiothoracic surgery
Ability to expand research experience and further education to pursue clinical training in the United States
Experience working with faculty surgeons to design studies
Ability to assist with data collection and analyze outcomes
Willingness to work closely with a staff cardiothoracic surgeon to improve skills as a clinical/translational investigator
Participation in opportunities for improved clinical research outcomes through data handling, statistical analysis, and trial coordination
Experience in manuscript preparation
Ability to learn about new therapies under investigation
Willingness to report results of treatment and present work at national meetings in abstract as well as manuscript form
