Responsibilities

Maintain outpatient clinical practice at any of our UHealth ambulatory locations

9 half-day sessions per week

Optional clinical activities at Jackson Memorial Hospital including inpatient wards, medical consultation service and ambulatory resident and student clinic

Qualification

Medical Doctor degreeInternal medicine certificationFlorida Medical LicenseBLS certificationACLS certificationDiagnosisTreatment expertiseHealth promotion knowledgeDisease prevention knowledgeCompliance with policies

Required

Degree as a Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine

Active internal medicine certification or eligibility by either the American Board of Internal Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine

Valid unrestricted Florida Medical License or eligible to apply (a valid Florida medical license is required prior to credentialing)

Expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of complex illnesses, in health promotion and in disease prevention

Maintain the educational requirements mandated for state licensing

Compliance with UHealth policies

Maintain current BLS and ACLS certification

Maintain a valid DEA license
