Industrial Engineer – Multi-Site Continuous Improvement

They are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to lead continuous improvement initiatives and optimize plant layouts across multiple manufacturing sites.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement standardized processes and layouts across multiple facilities
Coordinate plant moves and expansions at different sites, ensuring minimal disruption
Identify and execute improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen principles
Analyze workflows to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance quality
Create and maintain accurate 2D CAD drawings for facility layouts and equipment positioning
Experience on the systematic management of moving, storing, protecting, and controlling materials and products through the entire supply chain, from raw goods to finished products, using manual, automated, or semi-automated equipment to boost efficiency
Validate designs with engineering and maintenance teams
Collect and analyze operational data from multiple sites to support decision-making
Prepare reports and presentations for leadership on improvement initiatives
Partner with production, maintenance, safety, and quality teams across all sites
Support capital projects and vendor coordination

Required

Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related field
5–10 years in a manufacturing environment with multi-site responsibility
Proficiency in CAD 2D design software (AutoCAD or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
Ability to calculate and apply FPM/m/s for material flow optimization
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
Strong communication and project management skills
Ability to travel between sites as needed
Experience with multi-site facility relocation projects
Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning tools
Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher)
