Responsibilities
Perform furnace brazing on metal components
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to ensure proper assembly
Inspect brazed joints for quality and integrity, making necessary adjustments
Set up and maintain brazing equipment, ensuring proper functionality
Use appropriate filler pastes, cements and tapes to achieve high-quality bonds
Conduct leak testing and quality checks to meet customer specifications
Follow safety procedures and wear necessary PPE to prevent hazards
Maintain accurate production records and report any defects or issues
Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and quality control teams to optimize brazing processes
Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting as needed
Qualification
Required
High school diploma/GED or equivalent supplemented by one years' experience in furnace or heat-treating operations
Reasonable knowledge of work methods, practices and procedures involved in a variety of maintenance and repair activities
Understand customer drawings
Good written and oral communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with other staff
Organized and detail-oriented with strong level of accuracy and the ability to multi-task
Ability to prioritize and adhere to strict deadlines
High level of integrity; ability to handle confidential information
US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa
Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug screen and background check
