Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter, observing for any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns
Report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required
Maintain detailed and accurate logs or reports of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related observations
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and onsite management to address and resolve security-related matters as they arise
Qualification
Required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred
A valid guard card or license is preferred
