Technical Project Manager
Courser is a partnership platform that helps IT Managed Services Providers identify and take the next step in growth. They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage the planning, execution, and successful delivery of IT projects across multiple locations, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Responsibilities
Project Planning and Coordination: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk management strategies, and clear project goals. Define project scope and deliverables based on internal requirements and resource capabilities
Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure clear communication, manage expectations, and foster strong, lasting relationships
Team Collaboration: Work closely with a wide variety of technical teams and project stakeholders, including system engineers, business leaders, and administrative roles, to allocate resources and ensure proper execution of IT projects
Timeline Management: Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring milestones are met and that projects are completed on time. Adjust timelines as needed to accommodate client needs and resource constraints
Risk and Issue Management: Identify potential risks and obstacles to project success, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate issues as necessary to senior management or clients
Vendor Management: Collaborate with third-party vendors or service providers, ensuring they deliver their services according to agreed terms and timelines
Quality Control: Ensure that the solutions provided meet both the stakeholders’ needs and the quality standards expected by Courser. Conduct project reviews to guarantee all deliverables meet client specifications
Project Documentation: Maintain clear and accurate project documentation, including timelines, budgets, status reports, and post-project reviews. Document technical configurations and operational procedures
Continuous Improvement: Analyze project outcomes and provide insights on how to improve processes, project execution, and client satisfaction in future projects
Post-Project Support: Ensure smooth handover of the completed project to the operational teams for ongoing support and maintenance. Provide post-project support, addressing any emerging issues or concerns
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
3+ years of project management experience within an MSP, IT services, or technology consulting environment
Strong knowledge of MSP operations, service delivery models, and IT infrastructure
Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, Trello) and IT service management tools (e.g., ConnectWise, ServiceNow)
Experience in managing IT projects such as network implementations, cloud migrations, system upgrades, or managed IT services
Solid understanding of IT systems, hardware, software, networking, and security best practices
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities and deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients effectively
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to mitigate risks and resolve project challenges
Preferred
PMP, ITIL, or similar project management certification
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies
Experience with Agile or Scrum project management methodologies
Knowledge of cybersecurity practices and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2)
