Conducting fiscal and performance audits and budget reviews of foster care providers, such as; STRTPs, FFAs, THP-NMDs, and any other providers who receive AFDC-FC funds statewide to determine compliance with foster care rate-setting, auditing regulations, and with state and federal law
Qualification
Required
Familiarity with audit standards and practices
Passion for performing audits and ensuring regulation compliance with business entities
Conducting fiscal and performance audits and budget reviews of foster care providers
Determining compliance with foster care rate-setting, auditing regulations, and with state and federal law
Background Investigation clearance prior to being hired
Fingerprinting clearance by the Department of Justice
Completion of employment history on the application form (STD 678)
Inclusion of unofficial transcripts for verification if meeting minimum qualifications with education
Proof of residence in California prior to being eligible for appointment if residing outside of California
