Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within the chemical and petrochemical location
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns
Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols within the location
Maintain detailed records and logs of patrols and security-related incidents as required by Allied Universal and site protocols
Assist with access control procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas within the chemical and petrochemical facility
Support emergency response efforts as directed, including coordinating with onsite personnel and first responders when appropriate
Qualification
Required
At least 6 months of security-related experience is required
A TSA issued TWIC is required
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
A guard card or license is preferred
