Senior Data Solutions Engineer

Responsibilities
Create, maintain, and execute custom SQL scripts, stored procedures, and functions to support business operations
Work with Accounting, HR, Operations, Marketing, and Sales to validate requirements, support existing processes, and implement new solutions
Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs using SQL Server, BIDS/SSRS, and third-party BI tools to provide actionable insights for CFO, COO, and Regional Directors
Architect and maintain ETL processes to ensure accurate and efficient data flows across systems
Utilize PowerShell and other tools to automate database processes and enhance operational efficiency
Support source control (Git), maintain documentation, and provide guidance for best practices in SQL development
Assist IT and other teams on special projects, integrations, and technical initiatives as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
3+ years of experience writing, developing, and understanding T-SQL
3+ years of experience creating and maintaining custom stored procedures and SQL functions
2+ years of experience with SQL Server reporting tools and report development
2+ years of experience with Microsoft PowerShell scripting, including SQL-related functions
2+ years of experience with ETL systems and processes
Proven experience architecting ETL solutions
Hands-on experience with SQL Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS/SSRS)
Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS)
Experience configuring and maintaining source control libraries, specifically Git
Experience in client-facing, technical capacity
Physical ability to stoop, kneel, climb, crawl, walk, and stand for extended periods in varied work environments to perform sampling activities
Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer for documentation and reporting
Must be able to pass a background check, annual physicals, and OSHA-required respirator fit tests
